If the roles were reversed there wouldn’t really be a ton of backlash, because this is primarily porn. Specifically, porn that makes it pretty clear in the summary and opening chapter what it’s gonna be about. Think of all those manga about a woman getting raped by an orc or by a mob of men. It’s in that same ballpark, only with a bit more length and context to it.
It’s not really meant to convey anything deeper than a porn fantasy I think. I mean, more than half the comic is just made up of sex scenes, with the faintest veneer of plot to give it some flavor.
You’re right though, if you’re not into it, don’t waste your time. It’s supposed to cater to some very specific tastes and people who aren’t into it are likely to find it disturbing. That’s not really the author’s or the story’s fault though. Different strokes for different folks and all that.
