My opinion is that the story is well structure, it keeps you in suspense and foe me at least, I end up like the prisioner never knowing if he will be kill or not.

This is more of a lima syndrome then Stockholm he might have a little but he's mental to so I only see mild Stockholm syndrome and More lima.

@GAYA it did build the suspend/thriller well. I'm not saying this series is bad. It is good, but in my opinion it doesn't give something new. Ah maybe more like twilight, i don't find anything new or interesting but alot of people like it

@no3b nothing new imo in this series. Even that chara looks like levi alot. But i do like the way the story build up the suspense. But yea so far only that. Idk if webtoon platform has editor or require a certain page per chapter or not like traditional manga, but i feel the mangaka stretch out several unnecessary parts. Imo
Webtoons have a different panel/page design than manga. It's designed as one long, uncut vertical strip that you scroll and wasn't intend to be read like pages as it is here. The design is required for Lezhin so chaging it is not up to the author's discretion. In my opinion, it looks much better when it's read in the proper format. There's some lovely art elements that just aren't the same this way.
@A when i said "stretch-out" it is story-wise. Not panel-wise.
I've read yaoi started from 2006, following from livejournal based scanlation , site like fushichou, liquid eros, until tumblr-based scanlation. So yes i've read alot yaoi
But i admit so far i only ever read webtoon 19days and killing stalking. So idk much about webtoon.
No - I get you. I meant "new" as a new shiny scanlated series. I saw your other comment and like you, I've been reading BL since around 2006 too. I believe the majority of readers are a much younger demographic than us.

I don't know why this one is so popular... I mean there are a lots of these kind of manga/manwha with this kind stockholm syndrome theme,,,
