My only wish is that Makoto gets Mai :) that he actually do be together with her in his hell. She likes him, he loves her, she doesn't want him to kill, he can't kill unless it's her and even then, he just wants her. It's a good match if you ask me. So just let the boi obsess over her, she will receive it all, happily if I am not reading her wrong(she gets happy when he turned that girl down, the og her alsp loved him, she also loves him and doesn't really care for other's even to the point of defending her bro ~yes... I kinda feel a bit weird, cause they are not really brother and sister [not even how each other sees one another...] but he definitely uses the term to be around her and control her surroundings to catch/trap her to be with him[which is funny cause she kinda wants to be with him, to distract him from his killing intent and also cause she enjoys his company and cares for him genuinely]...)
So I do think albeit not perfect, most things are not, they are a good match
The art isn't crude, it's just stylised. You can tell it's drawn by a highly skilled artist. If it's not to your taste, that's fine though! I'm glad you're enjoying the characters though.
I decided to read it since the title was interesting, but I wasn't expecting to enjoy it this much. The artwork is a little crude, but the plot and characters more than make up for it. Mai trying so hard to not be a victim and to prevent her indifferent brother from becoming a murderer awoke a new feeling within him. Honestly, I wouldn't mind it if the plot got darker, instead of playing in the lighter shades of grey. I feel this sort of story with the brother requires that dip into the dark side of humanity.
