It's like that saying "A mantis stalking a cicada is unaware of an oriole behind, while the bird does not know of the arrow trained on its back." (⊙…⊙ ) In the end, the MC is the great master mind behind the curtain. He's kind of been obsessed with ML since his school days. He is so obsessed and intelligent that he manipulated everyone and used incidents to create the final result. It's kind of strange, because there are times when he's really insecure and acts stupid, like confusing ML's noona for GF and other parties. I understood the idea that the MC is a little crazy and totally genius, but for me the author lost his hand, like wtf they don't even seem like the person, they lacked knowing how to better connect the silly side of the MC. It loses the nexus of his internal debate when it arrives at the end of chapter 30.
