Ok a small spoiler
Prior to this he was working with his boss and they were taking house calls (going to clients houses) shizuma is her assistant so he had to come with her. When they were heading back the boss stopped and said she had to go somewhere and took him with her. They went to a cafe and basically the boss talked about how bad she was at talking to clients and that she was thankful she had shizuma with her because she can't talk to people. Shizuma was understanding(forgot some details) basically shizuma mentions he has a date and the date is to make up for missing the previous one.
Boss says he should break up cause his partner is jealous and in this linenof work shizuma won't be able to spendnalot of time with him. Shizuma says shut the fuck up it ain't your place to barge in my relationship.
Boss apologizes qnd once again mentions how bad they are at talking to people. Boss then offers to drop shizuma off to his date. The boss gave shizuma the rest of the day off to go to his date as a thankyou and once again apologizes.
If I remember correctly shizuma said he was fine and could go himself but his boss insisted.
She's his boss he can't just say no and not listen to her
