I think he had feelings for aeroc even back then and he just choose that way so he could lay with him.

The revenge was just an excuse to do what he wanted to Aeroc.. it justified that he can do whatever he pleases. Aeroc was this person, he couldn’t touch before, someone out of his league, but after Rapiel’s death.. the tables were turned.

Imprinting played a major part in this story, I was gonna feel bad but Kloff in Aeroc's regression fought his imprinted alpha instinct while original Kloff let's his imprinted alpha instinct won his mind, you can observe this on Kloff's regression
It did play a big part in the mess of season 1. The very nature of how Clough handled his revenge was the imprints influence. He did imprint before Aeroc’s first born, meaning that he caused all his suffering. And he did let it take over his mind…
I feel bad for Au Clough, because the imprint tormented him.. when it’s Og Clough who established it. To have those nightmares almost everyday must be driving him insane
Aeroc was never the problem, if anything, sure he deserves to be HUMANELY PUNISHED like 2years in prison for ordering those thugs to scare Rafiel (Those thugs r4p3 Rafiel, but that's what Aeroc never told them to do so these thugs should be the one to suffer)
The real problem is Kloff, he could've just sued Aeroc because HE'S LITERALLY SMARTER than Aeroc, I hate to admit it but it's true.
