If you read the comic we can see that it follows the rules he knights. I don't think he will ever confess his feelings to her. He will move on and support the woman he loves and his best friend.

The manga realistically handles the whole "incest" thing. Jeremy never saw Shuli as his mom so he developed feelings for her but was willing to never act on it to protect their family. Shuli pretty much sees Jeremy as her son so I don't think there was ever an opportunity for the two to have that sort of weird grooming pseudo-incest relationship that manhwas tend promote. Not to mention, the story shows how others react to such a relationship (a lot of negative reactions) which is great! I really advise you give it a read :)

It wouldn’t be really incest either, they have 1,5 year gap. Would be weirder if he genuinely saw her as his mother. There is grooming, but she’s the one who was being groomed by their father
Haven't read this yet, but I just want to know if she ends up with another MC (hopefully) or does this involve grooming (I see a lot of reincarnated mothers and their "child" falling for them). I just don't wanna waste my time reading something like that T_T
