Right? And he KNOWS how much Hes loves Kael, He KNOWS she legitimately repulsed by Heli so much, she pushed him away in the library like the fire dumpster he is, in a instance, instinctively. She's never looked at him in that way or has ever tried to charm him. But since she's treated Kael so amazingly, heli wants her. Once again having thoughts of taking his so called "best friend" happiness, thats barely recovering from the previous damage Heli gave Kael.
Like you said, that hard-wired thought Heli has makes me hope that he truly suffers, he's so selfish.
