It would help her avoid death if she came up with a plan to get him arrested based on what the little sister knows right now instead of "investigating" a serial killer who's attention she already knows she caught for contrived plot purposes. Or if she found a way to ask for help or not go around alone right now. They just spent a chapter a bit ago reasoning on why serial killers are dangerous and investigating them alone is dumb, but she's gonna do it anyway and almost get killed only to be saved in the nick of time by a male lead, I bet you $5.
thats true, i guess since shes solved spirit business all her life, shes used to getting close to the problems herself. i do agree she couldve worked towards more safer precautions before deciding to handle a murderer. the best thing to do would be to see what she does ig. if the ML does end up saving her ass for doing something reckless im gonna get so annoyed
It makes us feel safe to believe everything happens for a reason, I guess. That everything could have been prevented or controlled. I know one person who has seen crime in real life instead of the news. They believe that true evil exists. Things only all make sense and wrap up neatly when an author writes it that way. Anyway, I am probably oversensitive about how fiction on the topic.
You don't have to find out why serial killers kill. You don't have to try to understand or make it seem logical, relate or make excuses. It's okay to not show sympathy to serial killers contrary to recent TV shows.
