I'm the translator. I'm not British and I've never even been to England. I have no idea what I'm doing and pull random British slang out of my arse to try to make something that conveys the tone of the original Japanese lines, and to me “a British” opposed to “a Brit” or “a British person” sounds very wrong but who am I to argue with the British.
