I might be in the minority here

I really did not like how they kept on pushing for the ML to forgive the others for killing his mother and sister. Like they kept on guilt tripping him so much that I began to feel a bit uncomfortable with it. Yes he didn’t want to kill his brother and he regretted it later on, but seriously in 20 years they never apologized until now that the uncle knew that he didn’t have long to live. It felt like such a cheap apology. One thing about the whole situation was the fact that they caused not only the empress to die, but also the princess, like that’s a imperial family member, they should have been punished harsher for at least the princess’s death, especially since it was known that they were the ones responsible. Were the FL’s family also involved because of the flashback where the Emperor was thinking about the evidence that I’m not sure he mentioned their family. Also was the first prince the ML’s full brother like the sister, I’m surprised we learn basically nothing about him other than his death by a cannon ball.

Agreed, I get why the MC did it since it seemed Linden didn't take the guilt of killing his brother well (and she knows that cause, yeah lol). But I also think the way she went about it, and the way everyone else reacted kinda was sh*tty
