Its so funny that many readers are concerned with age gap. I mean, you're reading GL, why does age matter? Unless one of them is not in legal age. And also, I understand that many of you hates Jin Joo. However as a reader, I truely love her character. She is not the usual character that will bore you. She has depth. Just think about her experience, try to imagine if you are in her shoes. What kind of decision will you make? She's feeling all the emotions. Confusion, happiness, doubtfulness. She was scared. And she dont know how to identify her current feelings. She is a mess. And I like it. To tell you honestly, almost all of the characters in this story are entertaining and unique. If you are not a fan of mature and deep characters, you can try to read some fluffy GLs. I dunno how old are the readers here, but comming from a grandma like me, this story is lit.

I feel that too. Jinju is a victim of abandonment and abuse and they're looking for a "perfect victim" but shes not a one note character. Both Doyeon and Jinju were using each other, that doesn't make then bad ppl just human.

Besides, I've seen BL with crazy age gaps and only a couple ppl mention it (mainly because the story itself doesn't mention it) I would understand if Doyeon was a teen or even 20/21 but she's not.

Is the age gap weird? Yeah, sure. But does this age gap relationship have to do with controlling the younger person and being attracted to them FOR THEIR AGE? No.
