You view him as weak. I view him as strong because he has gone through a lot and still pushing through. He is roughly the same person. Many people would not be able to handle what he has gone through. If he was weak, he would not be alive or he would have had cracked at the beginning. He has great inner strength.

I think op mean weak in terms of how he can’t just have that strong will to leave that mf once and for all and realize he can be independent

He has stood him for himself a few times. Jaekyung has not been abusing him nonstop. He has abused him, just not nonstop. I am not over-critical of Jaekyung or this story but it does seem you are dismissing the story.

He never wanted to leave. He may leave but they are end game. He has been independent for a long time. His grandmother is in the hospital and he had to work many jobs.
