Yea.. I think he won't matter if she is anyway considering he fell for her since he first saw her but I'm guessing he is relief because later when he confess to Judith, he said that
1.he thinks everyone who knows him n Jonas would end up liking Jonas more, so maybe a feeling like he could never overcome her affection for Jonas if presumably that she is the mother and do the deeds with Jonas out of love or interest
2. So if she is not the mother he feels like the chance of her liking him would be higher than if she is, since she might not compare him to Jonas like others often do
So the chp4 relief scene made me remember this .. Reminds me why rudy is soo endearing n i just wna hug him.. Tho his mom does love him, but yea, since he did get that tlc directly, I really feel for rudy
