If flashback as to when they met is two years then yep you’re right, black hair should be in the middle of 11th grade or in 12th grade, anywhere from 16-18. Blue hair got his hand injured and then had to quit his job, with complications and recovery period, this is after military service, assuming he didn’t go to school, conservatively 3 years. So he would be 21 and the kid would be 18 when they met. Which is weird to me because why would a working adult want to be with a kid freshly out of highschool or a freshman in uni? But the way he spoke seems like he worked a bit and then did military, came back, worked more, got injured and then had to quit his job while rehabbing for quite some time, maybe an year, it sounds to me like he is in his mid twenties. So when they met maybe they are 18 and 23-24. And they started dating at 19-20 and 24-25. This ain’t it for me
When did seme have to quit his job after the injury? I only remember that he said he had plans for a restaurant with his friends, which by all means may have started in high school, we don't know. But also if seme was 18 at the time, then for me that is just as young as a 23 yo, but I think one of my issues is that I always age people up and match ages in this type of story. I am 31, so they are all babies to me.... But most stories like this have kids in their 20s, so not much I can do except pretend they are older (drawings are easy for that, as some people have been in their '30s' and drawn the same way) .... Maybe my brain compensates for me? Idk
In ch4 he mentions his injury was bad and that he had to quit his job because of it. I guess that makes sense but I can’t really imagine an 18 year old and a 23 year old having much in common, they are in such different stages in life
Am I the only one thinking that yes there is an issue, but I don't think the age gap is as big as others said? I was thinking that maybe the uke was like 3 -5 years older, because my interpretation was that uke got his military over with right after high school, but got injured during it. He had plans with friends to open a restaurant right after military, so I figured they would have done it first, so it didn't get in the way. Also, since the uke injured his hand, he probably didn't serve the full 18-24 months in the military. Also the seme could have been in his last year of high school too. He could already be 18. I could be completely wrong though, I have only read 9 chaps so far, and no age was stated, but my guess was 4 years gap.
