Since you enjoyed Ikoku Nikki I highly suggest reading Skip to Loafer as well. Although the queer rep isn't as vast like Ikoku Nikki, it has very realistic portrayals of characters similar to Ikoku Nikki.

Hey guys, I just recently read a lot of “ How do We Relationship” aka Tsukiatte Agetemo Ii kana on this website and I loved it a lot. Now I have a craving for realistic/mature manga about queer people being in a relationship. This can be two guys, two girls, a non binary person and a boy/girl, or etc., just anything that deviates from the “normal” cishet relationship.
