from what i understood and remember (i have bad memory btw):
phase 1: mc met ml as his uncle, went through the heartbreak and did his first su*cide attempt. ended up in a psych ward. the child was born in this phase.
phase 2: ml found mc and brought him back to live with him. this was when mc saw their son for the first time and mistook him as a mistress’ child. then did his second su*cide attempt.
phase 3 (present): mc is slowly gaining back his memories from the previous phases, but the child still lives with the nanny. and no he didnt end up giving the child the toys or even meeting with him.
