Nope that’s not it. I went in knowing it won’t be toxic and plenty of sex, that’s why I put off reading it for a while because I do that when I think a story is good. But it was very disappointing. Just accept that some people find it bland and unappealing. Jesus.

this story is bland and boring, i personally prefer stories with complex character writing and intriguing plots, but thats just me speaking

Just like there might be stories that you like but we find them bland. It's a matter of taste so I see no point of being so fixed on why so many people like it.
