I remember how much ppl fought me for not agreeing that jaeshin engaging in non concensual was completely his fault. I dont condone rape but u gotta understand that the plot of the story IS HIM learning to be humane. For a demon from underworld moralities arent same as they are for us. And the author note now delves deeper into it explaining how their concept of family is also diff with twins and yeomra being an exception and now jae shin is in love too but his redemption n journey isnt over yet and im really excited for season 3. Until next time

yes, i get it, but it doesnt make sense for somebody to fall in love with their rapist, right? i get that jae shin helps him w his ghost problem, was there when that mother ghost incident happened but cmon… literally they just engaged in sexual activity which alot of the times was rape and he falls in love with him? kinda cringe imo but you do you, enjoy what you want

Well ever since they made an agreement for mutual benefits it was no longer dub con. Its only the first few chapters that had non con in it. And the you cant simply just sum it up as a victim falling for their rapist bruh...its literally 62 chapters later that nok realises or confeses. His feelings began as gratitude to jae shin for saving from being raped by ghosts every night. And it has been going on for so long ofc anyone would develope strong thankful emotions. But they also spend time together and get to know each other and theres a whole lot of plot progress depicted subtly that lead them to the current phase. I dont enjoy rape lmaoo i dont know how tf u go about assuming that even after i mentioned that i dont condone it. I dropped water side night and anastasia because of their rape plot I said jae shin is not a 2 Dimensional villian who we can slap our moralities on. He is a literal half demon and his character has shortcomings and flaws and nok is someone who also has a lot of issues to work about himself. But jae shin made him feel protected made him feel like he could discard his suffocative rigidity and princely properness. He was able to finally breathe in peace, have uninterrupted sleep without being raped by legions of ghosts n finally stop feeling responsible for his mother's death. Thats simply not a victim falling for their rapist.

Omgg nooo i dont carry grudges. I understand everyone have their own pov and its interesting and fun to engage in conversations like these as long as all of us are unhateful and can talk peacfully like this. Honestly im more surprised u even read my long ass para haha. I was disturbed by the rape con too and was considering giving up but then i read about how much attention n care the creators put for the art style so i stuck around giving it another chance. Also i'd have dropped it if the plot wasnt getting better. But for me i felt the changes in the character. Jae shin a flamboyant uncaring wild beast that learns to declaw and restrain himself and learns to care for a person (he still has a lonngggg way to go in terms of personality development and redemption which i believe he will given how he willingly jumped infront of an attacking sword for nok and was willing to temper with nok's death fate knowing that he might face even severe consequences and was punished for doing the same at the beginning of the story. As for nok i love how he finally has someone he can relax around and speak his free mind and not care for responsibilities n duties. Jaeshin grew up feeling unwanted n nok needing him is his fundament of attachment towards nok. Their relationship has just kickstarted n we would see it blossom n deepen more in s3. I hope you'd stick around for that(^ω^)
