no fucking way 😭😭

What happened? Spoil me cause I can’t read further if I don’t know beforehand

Spoiler (the brief spoiler about recent chapter is last paragraph so just scroll down, if you don’t want to read my wall of text lol)









Okay so recent chapters have been about the male lead and his previous mate(surprise surprise, he looks exactly like mc lol)

it basically depicts how mc and the ml met and how ml fell in love and also how mc reciprocated his love at the end.

Mc actually is like a prince of a kingdom. However, his distant relative/brother had usurped the throne from a tyrant king and killed everybody that could threaten his position except the mc. He usurped the throne because the king had ruined the country, but he caused a lot of bloodshed, which makes the mc kinda iffy about the whole thing. Especially when the brother reveals his unhealthy obsession with mc. He basically keeps him captive and controls everything about his life. Mc felt so suffocated and stuff that he finally was able to escape and ran as far away as possible. That’s where he met the ml.

Mc realized ml isn’t human after encountering bandits and ml just fucking evaporates them like a more op thanos. However, he doesn’t try to find out more.

ML also doesn’t know what species he is until this deer talks to him like after the 10 year time skip. The deer is basically another dragon and tells him he’s a dragon. They also tell him about how if he makes an orb and feeds it to his mate, they’ll be bonded together forever. However, while he’s making the orb, he’ll lose all his powers and be like a regular human. Ml decided to do it after mc kinda rejects him when his feelings are revealed lol.

Anyway, during this time, the brother basically kidnaps him and burns down the hut mc and ml we’re living in. He brings him back to the palace and mc tries and fails to escape. Brother is even more unhinged now and even like stabs himself in the stomach cause mc said something offhand about that.

He also has this old eunuch that’s like an advisor of sorts, and when ml runs after them, during the kidnapping, the eunuch orders for him to be thrown into a river off a cliff to drown. (He lost all his powers cause he was creating his orb) However, he’s like a dragon that came from a river, so the river decides to help him because that river knew the other river that ml came from lol.

So, when mc is about to get caught during an escape attempt again(the same night of the stomach stabbing incident), the ml comes in transformed as his dragon form and saves him and takes him away.

Mc also tells his brother to, “stop it. Get some help.” Before just jumping on the dragon and flying away lol

Anyway, mc and ml do an impromptu wedding after they confirm their feelings for each other and decide to run away to a different country.

The brother turned out to still be obsessed and did not learn anything or hear anything mc was saying. He ordered the eunuch to find him and they’ve posted wanted posters for them all across the country.

When mc sees the posters he separates with the ml, so they can board different boats, so they won’t catch suspicion. The ml is worried but reluctantly agrees to the plan. He’s also about to finish his dragon orb so it feels kinda hopeful.

But then he like doesn’t want to leave mc alone and decides to get off the boat he’s on before it leaves.

However, just as he finds the mc, the mc seemed to be being attacked by someone, and then it’s revealed that the eunuch, who is noticing the king’s downward spiral because of his obsession THOUGHT IT WAS THE PERFECT IDEA TO JUST KILL THE MC INSTEAD. SO THEN THE MC GETS FUCKING STABBED BY AN ASSASSIN IN FRONT OF THE ML AND THATS WHERE THE CHAPTER ENDS. FUCK.

That’s my kind of in depth spoiler, this is the brief version where I just say what happened in the last chapter;

PAST LIFE MC GOT FUCKING STABBED WITH A SWORD BY AN ASSASSIN. AND, THE ML SAW IT ALL AND JUST SAW PAST LIFE MC DIE, LIKE JUST AS THEY WERE ABOUT TO ESCAPE AND BE HAPPY TOGETHER. THEY ALSO FUCKING JUST GOT MARRIED TOO, SO THATS ABSOLUTELY BULLSHIT AND SO MESSED UP AND THEY DONT DESERVE THAT.
