He’s a coward. He has everything (money) and everyone on his side yet he chose to be a pussy. Honestly there are multiple ways he could’ve defended himself against his brother and he chose to run away. Honestly grandpa shouldn’t want him as the successor cuz he may be “smart” (smart where?) but he lacks the courage so in the end he would be a pushover business man. Not to mention if he’s such a fucking coward why didn’t he go to another country?? I was thinking that too. The being away thing. The only problem with that is the brother will still see him as a threat, since he can always come back (from his brother's viewpoint) so still the best defense would still to be proactive about it. Not dixk around.

I'm more inclined to be less critical if the scenario even makes SOME sense. Like Beasts of Desires has SOME sense, though waaaayyy too much r*p* and the MC has a ton of issues. It's still crazy.

Everyone’s on his side? Who’s everyone? We haven’t seen them. Even his assistant is his brother’s spy. He has money? So does his brother. Honestly, we don’t even have enough background story for you to making all of these assumptions about him. Like, what makes you think his brother wouldn’t send assassins to follow him to another country? How’s he supposed to be “living it up” while constantly having to look over his shoulder because his brother trying to blow up his cars or plan accidents to kill him. Even if his grandfather prefers him, he probably feels like they should fight amongst themselves, or there could be another reason he can’t ask for his help. Who knows? We haven’t even seen his grandfather in the story yet. There have literally only been six chapters, and almost half of it was sex. Calm down and let the story play out more.

Lmfao of course I’m making assumptions based only what I have read and when more chapters are out I’ll make some assumptions based on the new information .Wow look at me analyzing what I read, who would’ve thought right? Anyways, when I said everyone I meant his grandfather and yeah it hasn’t been shown that he has other people on his side so you’re right about that. However grandpa being on his side is all that matters because of how strong the patriarch is and how he holds all the power in their family. Based on the fact that his grandfather clearly prefers him then yes, I would ASSUME that he would help the mc in some form. Also, I meant that if he really wanted to show his brother that he wasn’t a threat he could’ve went to another country and cut his family off thereby proving he has no interest in them but again I’m ASSUMING this will be enough to take some of the heat of his back. Of course he’d have to do more than cut them off but I’m only trying to prove there could have been other ways. Lastly, yeah both brothers have money so I pointed out a clear character trait that the mc is a coward because he has the same resources to help himself out but he’s too afraid of dying to do anything thereby making him a coward. Don’t freak out now because by definition Mc is a coward. That’s how successions work, they have to have the courage and determination to endure all the hardships that they can to inherit the company. Again I’m assuming because that’s all I can do as a reader since there aren’t more chapters lmfao, sorry I decided to analyze the characters in way you didn’t like but I can assure you me and the other person are perfectly calm.

You’re right. My issue with the story is that Mc is supposed to be smart but all his ideas to get his brother off his back is just him running away and being a coward. Personally I hate weak minded characters and that’s why I criticized him so much.
