Shes already explained that she never truly loved him, but rather felt responsible towards him and his attitude. She was powerless back then and could only control him by acting all cutesy and stuff like that, but now that she’s an empress with power, she doesn’t have to help others in that way anymore. She can actually make a change now, and so thats why she so cold to him. Her responsibility is now the empire, not him.
