look at him from chapter one and then compare it to how he looks in the latest chapter, it's pretty much not the same character anymore. he used to not be able to control his expressions at all and now suddenly they just turned him into normal conventionally attractive model when the appeal was that he wasnt that. like sure its FINE, its OK now but like it just feels such a shame to wash away what made it so unique and fun. In general the art is just way less expressive and fun. It's like they felt a pressure to be more like other bl when it was good cus it was so unique.
I get what you are saying and I agree with you about Tashirou being unique and a total weirdo that eventually grows on you, but as he said he wants to "change". I'm pretty sure this hard core push of "handsome-kun" is obviously handsome has to be topped so Tashirou is now relying on his looks and his background as a model to do so. I honestly wish handsome -kun was either never introduced or a cameo appearance. The MCs were making such good progress together and the story was holding up perfectly well without him. So yes, it does feel like a typical BL story now, ugh.
