That’s what I’m saying. They always make it seem like the guy who doesn’t give an choice e.g. “saying no is not an option” when he asked her to dance, then not letting her go when she asked, etc. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when she’s had more “heart fluttering” moments with the SL /: she even said it herself at one point that he’s made her feel that way. Every time something happens with blonde I just see an abuse of power bc of their positions (doesn’t help that he is actively not giving her an option to say no)
I didn’t finish the thought bc I was too heated but I meant they always make the guy who doesn’t give a choice more romanticized. What do authors have against friends-to-lovers like the SL?? It would make so much more sense since they’ve gotten to know each other really well ///:

The scene where he stole the cookies she made for someone else and then said "You belong to me" wasn't hot or romantic. It was straight up terrifying. I felt chills up my spine. I thought the story had taken a sudden and unforshadowed yandere turn for a moment!
I'm just waiting for him to chaikn her up in his office and tell her it's for her own good bc he loves her while she blushes??? At his abuse?? Wtf?
