Is he saying otherwise?? He literally is saying it's his fault...
Technically, I've worked with rape victims and such, and people who slept together and were both under the influence are at fault or are also both victims because they could not give proper consent. So, given that information about Matthew he couldn't consent to proper thoughts. He's still at fault though. So that's why people are arguing that he was under the influence. No, if you were to take this to court, the drugs would only lower Matthew's sentence but he'd still be at fault and serve time.
