Nice read, but am I tripping? Wasn’t the first child announced as a princess? Author decided to change it halfway? Also a random fact, Bayan means rich and Tsetseg means flower in Mongolian language not ancient language, but ok. And Saran (the girl first sent to the emperor by siyo) means Moon.
I think it's all due to translation error. It's my third or fifth time reading this and I still get confused every time. As much as they put a lot of effort into translating this into English, they are bound to get some things wrong.
