shouldn’t have read the second part of the 1st couple’s story (83 onwards)

the entire point of why yoonjoo loved jaehee was because she felt secure and safe about him and his affection for her. the story completely overturned in the second part when he shamelessly kept meeting with his blind date (which happened because he lied to his mom and didn’t tell yoonjoo about because he was being petty) to make her jealous and convince her to marry him. didn’t they already resolve that they would try to communicate better in order to strengthen their relationship? where did that go????? thrown right into the bin.

even more infuriating is that although yoonjoo has understandably and repeatedly been forgiving of jaehee even after his little acts of foolishness once in a while in the first part, she still used to stand up for what she believed was right and didn’t like it when jaehee did unreasonable things when it was obvious she was trying hard to open up (which was hard for her because of the past). but in the second part????? she completely doesn’t even get angry over the fact her long-term boyfriend is just suddenly meeting up with someone on a blind date in a nice, fancy suit, giving her flowers, and repeatedly meeting her even after the first blind date all the while being aware he had a fucking girlfriend at home who doesn’t know the fucking context of pretending to date to make others jealous.

my first thought was that if my boyfriend, who i sincerely love, does that to me—go out with some rando while i know we were in a relatively stable relationship (regardless of some fighting) and repeatedly go out with them after making me feel like i could be secure with them and trust them, i’d just go ahead and break up with them, regardless of the explanation about fake convincing. i don’t deserve that shit. i really enjoyed the first part of this manhwa, i wish i never read the rest.
