Ok you’re right. Gatekeeping wasn’t the right word. But telling people to gtfo out just because they don’t like a certain aspect about an art style isn’t exactly the way to go either. People are entitled to voice their opinions about anything as long as it’s not flat out hateful. That’s just part of publishing your work. Yeah nobody is forcing you to read it but you don’t have to love every part of something to keep up with it. I personally love the art style as it is and if it downgraded in quality for next season, I wouldn’t shit on the artist but I would say I preferred it as it was before. Just opinion. Telling people to stop reading because their opinion on the artstyle is not the same as yours is excessive.

i read the raws and mann this art style for the new season is so weird like dont get me wrong, the author has always been talented no matter what but the way she draws faces has devolved so much i mean like cirrus and skylar both look like crimson chin i was actually scared they were gonna puncture each other's necks while they was making out... why did she have to change it bruh it was perfect before
