hira doesn't see kiyoi as a person, he has his own image of kiyoi which he idealizes as a god. he worshipps him. much like how some crazy kpop fans put their idols on a pedestal. utskushi karee has a drama adaptation along with a movie and some audio drama cds as well. of course theres the original novel . check them out if you want. both hira and kiyoi have so different desires and they kinda fit well cuz kiyoi also wants something that only hira gives him
