How is he redeemable ?

One thing you have to consider is she purposely making him look worse than he is. However, she has given hints to his real personality. Yes, he is toxic and has bad behaviors. His personality is not his behavior.
In his behaviors has he killed Dan's family members? Has he beaten Dan like those loan sharks or worse? Did he confide Dan? You may think Jaekyung has raped Dan but if you understand the characters, the story, and the terms, Jaekyung has only sexually assaulted him and sometimes with sexual coercion. Has Jaekyung tied him up and savagely raped him? Has he choked him to he passed out?

He paid off Dan's and Dan's grandma's debt. He allowed Dan to live with him. He has taken care of Dan many times. He had not left bruises on Dan.

The worst he has is a bad temper, not able to handle his emotions, and sexually assaulting Dan. Chapter 34 he will regret it. When you understand not take what he says at face value, you will start to understand Jaekyung more. For when he said he hates flowers due to him being jealous and when his penthouse has plants and one has flowers, see 45 and 46.
It would seem he has never been in love before and doesn't understand those feelings. He has to learn.

He is reacting in a bad way due to anger issues and more.
He does not know how to express his real feelings and hides them. Heesung says this.

Let's take chapter 45.

First, he is already injured.
Second, he has a headache via having a hangover.
Third, he's bombarded by unwanted expensive gifts that is invading his space.
Fourth, he is confused about last night. This could be considered rape because he could not Consent to sex being drunk and Dan was willing to take advantage of that situation, being tipsy himself.
Fifth, nothing is helping him get better.
Sixth, he learns the reason Dan has been going out, sleeping when he should be working, and rubbing blood on him without noticing. It was for him. He has been worried and he learns all that was for him. It is probably something that has never happened to him. Someone so close to doing something so genuinely.
He covered his emotions but anger and lashed out.
sixth is a man-child and don't know how to handle that.

How many people did John Newton cause to lose their freedom to be slaves for the rest of their lives? But how many people did he free from being slaves? How many people have helped over the years with what he wrote? Amazing Grace has influenced many people, even today when he is long gone. Did he redeem himself? It would appear so and what he did was worse than what Jaekyung had done. A man-child who can't control his feelings, emotional conflict, or internal struggle to where lashing out is what he does and some behaviors are wrong. But is mostly verbal and most of it is being disingenuous.

If he is not redeemable then many in today's life are not redeemable. If you condemn him, you condemn maybe yourself and others. Many on this site are worse than him are you saying they are not redeemable when in fact they can change for the better? He is redeemable.
If he is not redeemable to you, you have an unforgiven cold world where no one is redeemed, not even you or the OP (Fayfay365).

They came here to get people to stop reading it but they came to stir up trouble due to their prejudice. I would never be proud to be calling myself a hater. It shows I let hate control me.
