Definitely not...as stated in like the first or second chapter, she was blinded by her live for him, no she wasn't a "pick me" no she didn't realize he was "trash" she didn't realize how horrible of a person he was until she caught him with another woman. He manipulated and used her for her healing magic and consistently lead her on to keep her by his side so he can use her, thinking of her as an object rather than an actual person so that's why he killed her when she tried to leave because she "belonged to him" the whole plot is practically her realizing how shitty he is and wanting to take revenge on him for it, no she wasn't a pick me and no she didn't chase him thinking he was a bad person, she loved him blindly and unconditionally because she thought he was perfect and could do no wrong.

Girl... in the 1st chapter she literally says "I knew it was an engagement to take advantage of me" mind you that was before he even had a mistress so yes she did know. It would be different if he was kind and loving and then switched up but he was cold to her from the jump did you read the same story?

Yes she says that but literally right after she says "I thought he might come to feel something for me if I tried my best", not only that but yes he was like that. When he realized how useful she'd be to him he immediately started being nice to her but would be indifferent when she had no use to him and the minute he needed help he would become sweet and beg for her to help him like he did when he brought in lillian, saying how much he needed her and asking for her to help him, her being so deeply in love with him doing anything he asked. Only after she caught him cheating did she fully realize how trash he was.

"The term pick-me girl is used to describe a woman who obviously and obsessively works to gain men's attention or acceptance. Typically, a pick-me girl talks about how she's not like other women, especially in ways considered typically feminine." "Pick-me girls will constantly seek attention from males" she did not seek his validation nor did she want it, all she wanted was for him to love her back which he obviously did not so once she realized this she left...

Girl are you slow? You might want to read over your comment. "a woman who obviously and obsessively works to gain men's attention or acceptance." Is that not what the fl was doing when she was following him around when he CLEARLY wasn't interested? ShE DiDn'T wAnT hIs VaLiDaTiOn meanwhile she was engaged to him trying to prove herself to him depsite knowing how he really felt LMAO face it your girl is delusional and desperate poor ting

I agree with everything but this. Once she healed him, he started wooing her and then married her. She told her point of view from the standpoint of someone who woke up from the illusion he created. She was manipulated because he promised her love knowing it was never his intentions. Dude literally killed her dad then told her it was because of war, refused to let her see his corpse just so he can make her be alone. Yet she wasn’t manipulated?

Edit- Not married her, but was engaged for years with the promise of marrying her just to keep her around him. That was manipulation. Though I don’t believe she should’ve pursued him but many people don’t get with people expecting to be abused. I think her first life she was a lot more naive due to the fact her father spoiled her so much, her reason and mentality now comes from the fact that’s already LIVED through it before.

She wasn't manipulated bc she says herself that she KNEW he was taken advantage of her, yet still proceeded to try to prove herself to him bc she thought she could change him. If a guy is cold towards you and clearly isn't interested then all of sudden he gains interest once he sees you have powers and despite that you KNOWINGLY still involve yourself with him then that's being delusional. Everything else that happened after the fact is the after effects of ignoring red flags.
wait so the fl was a pick me who knew the arch duke was trash and didn't like her but chased him anyway?? Talk about desperate
