I'm middle eastern and I had a huge culture shock when I found out many of the social touchings we do is considered gay in other places lol
Things like kisses on the cheek or casually rubbing someone's arms and shoulders or kissing someone's shoulder and stuff like that
So I'm assuming touching someone on the face can also be normal in east asian countries idk
