I know there isn’t really rape in this manga, but the younger generation calls a lot ‘rape’. I was referencing a scholarly paper about ‘Fantasy Rape’ and I think that phrase is in the title, iirc (I read it years ago). So if someone wanted to research perhaps they would find it. Fantasy Rape is the number 1 female fantasy in romance. Not just Yaoi, but regular hetero romances sport this trope as well. And it’s all primarily written by women.

My friend said since so many act just as bad or worse than Jaekyung, the reason they hate Jaekyung so much is they relate to him or see themselves in him.
