A real-life shitbag who does the stuff we've seen Taeju doing - rape through force, coerced sex via the pressure of debt and threat of forced prostitution in case of slow repayment, social isolation for months by forcing Euihyun to stay in his house, among other acts - has only one place to be : the prison.
Taeju is a fictional character who was made to be both horrible and very attractive, via his mannerisms, his humour, his physique and face, and is remarkably well drawn.
Being attracted to the positive facets of this character doesn't force you in any way to endorse the horrible acts he committed and justify them.
Minimizing those acts may make real-life social violence victims in this website feel uncomfortable or even unsafe.
Protecting people in real life by listening to victims, caring for their physical and mental wellbeing, and if you can and want fighting for their rights, is a good thing, at the very least reorient them towards supportive non-profit organisations and - only if they want to - mental health professionals that have been recognised as respectful to victims.
Even if a streamer or influencer or actor etc you appreciate is accused of a crime in real life, do not threaten or harass or condone the harassment of the accuser or accusers, it can cause harm to them.

It's okay to like a character that was clearly created to be likeable. Even in real life most people do have redeemable and likeable features.

If you even find yourself in a toxic relationship, protect yourself ! Talk to others, state your limits, leave them if you want. You have no duty to forgive them or "not abandon them" or anything like that. If they harm you they must stop. Seek help with non-profit organisations, mental and/or physical health professionals and/or legal professionals.
Don't expect real life toxic partners to "suddenly redeem themselves", "suddenly" turn green". Real life people are more complicated than that. And if they want to have, they need at least a long time and effort accompanied by mental health professionals. You don't have a duty to be theirs.
