Ok I get it this is a joke, but I'm not an English speaker so I still don't understand

the original saying is “dumb as a rock”. rocks don’t have a brain or thinking capacity, so it’s basically like saying “do i look like i have no brain?”. it’s funny because the MC misunderstood how the saying goes and instead of saying “do i look as dumb as a rock?” he said “do i look as dumb as iraq?” because “a rock” and “iraq” sound pretty similar.
