korea has universal healthcare, but it doesn’t cover all the costs of treatment or medication. the amount covers about 70% on average, and the left over fees are paid out of pocket. the mom is also renting out a hospital room, and unfortunately those cost up to $300-400 a night
so mc is having to pay the costs of two apartments and food for himself, on top of extra medical fees
Doesn’t Korea have universal healthcare? Shouldn’t their hospitals bills not be crazy expensive? Right??? Or maybe not
