Based on the fact that 1) Sis has a memory gap, 2) Bro saying he won’t tolerate a world w/o sis being alive 3) glasses mentioning that dark magic cannot be inherited… I think sis died and bro used/learned dark magic to bring her back, but things were unstable, so when sis fainted out of shock from the prince dancing with someone else; mc’s soul took over.
I’m guessing what the translator means by the incest not being the “endgame” is that bro realizes that sis’s soul is gone and falls for MC’s soul instead (maybe MC gets her own body). I suppose the wolf guy could possibly be the ml! But I’m not getting those vibes.
