I've been wondering too. Haejun has been acting extremely suspicious but he hasn't done anything that will directly harm Daegun. We weren't sure what to really make of him but now suddenly he's the mastermind.
Also it was mentioned that there were "three" so that means someone got hurt/died, possibly due to either Daegun or Haejun. Must be why Haejun says he's doing these things for Daegun and why Daegun kept distance to begin with even tho it shows they were close at one point. I'm curious about the history now

We really don't. It always struck me as odd that with the strength and reputation he built he never joined an organization or smth. He would have definitely made it big in the underworld. But if something happened to a close friend it would explain why he distanced himself from all the fighting/Haejun etc

Maybe it's because of his moral compass? Daegun doesn't seem like the type of guy to be in a criminal organization. That's why he went back to school in the first place. He wants a good future. A normal one. I don't even feel like he likes fighting, it's probably just a means to an end to him. But yeah, maybe it's because he lost someone in the past so he dropped out
It's hard to understand Daegun and Haejun's relationship. Why does Haejun act like he's doing everything for Daegun. It doesn't make any sense. They can be cordial with each other but there's tension too
