In s2 it’s Aeroc’s return, so only he remembers, but because of a connection from the previous life Kloff is imprinted on him. So he dreams of the first world, this Kloff is not OG Kloff.
This arc is not going to be tragic like s1. It will be bittersweet. Aeroc just wanted to fulfill his promise, but still wants to at least see Kloff. I think he was hoping for friendship.
The horrifying chapter you saw is Kloff dreaming of the continuation of world 1, where OG Kloff’s son learns the truth about the fate of his mom.
It’s a dark story it’s not for everyone, but the story is unique and deep that you’re going to keep reading it. But s2 onwards isn’t tragic, but still it’s dark story, because of how they tackled imprinting. Imprinting makes you obsessed with your partner if you aren’t with them.. it makes you crazy and violent…which is why OG kloff was so cruel to Aeroc. He didn’t want aeroc to die, but he couldn’t help but enjoy tormenting him. The imprint amplified the negative emotions… but Kloff isn’t innocent because he’s obsession with Aeroc established the imprint even before the first pregnancy in world 1. He caused all his misfortunes.
The reason Kloff destroyed the tombstone was because the imprint affected his mind again.
