Loved every thing, loved the beginning, loved Renril, I even really liked the modern arc. However, even though the idea of the future arc was cool, I feel like the author's pacing is off. Too much crab is introduced for no reason. Like, jellyfish curtains, really?? Was that necessary? And why introduce a new sphere so abruptly? It's such a shame, because I think the question of how much human modification and eradication of suffering is possible before we lose what it means to be human is such a unique and interesting subject to explore. I love that the knockers have now merged with humanity, and I look forward to in what way the take will conclude. Will Fushi keep living forever? Will we see the consequences of Hayases reincarnation? Will we meet the left hand knocker once more? These are questions, I wished was given priority, instead of crab goose chases, Anton Day family drama and over the top world building. I think the author had to many ideas and lost sight of the plot a little. Here's to hoping she can turn it around, because this story is so unique and special, it deserves to be great
