Actually, we've known JKY is toxic from day 1 as we're not stupid. So, we didn't just realise it as you said. We're sticking with the story to see the redemption arc as that's the norm with this trope. Of course readers like you that "dropped" will keep coming back because the story is too compelling for you to stay away.
Are you trying to start an argument? Let me make myself clear. I'm not denying that I am curious as to what will happen to the story and how JKY and KD's relationship will end up, the spoilers I saw from TikTok made me all curious, and I have only skimmed through the recent chap because of that. But even if there was a "redemption arc" that won't still erase the fact of how badly he treated KD. And this story being trashy is just my opinion, I guess readers like you like tropes like this where victims get together with their assaulters, but I guess that's just the norm with this trope you so like reading.
"can't understand" pfft y'all keep preaching your stuff and keep getting dismissed by the people you look down on. "Ohh they're still reading this trash? Ohh they're finally realizing he's trash. Ohh they're so obsessed with this trope. Ohh these BL addicts still can't understand" lol it's not that profound, I do understand y'all's desire to be condescending at people still reading this "trash" :---)
Y'all still read this trash?
