i think because the on he first impression was mean and selfish, and when it was revealed that he had trauma, i think being mean and selfish was his coping mechanism think that being a vampire will solve his problems and we got better understanding of him which kind of improved our impression of him but it could be me (hope this doesnt come as offensive, just giving my opnion) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
not offensive at all! I was referring to the comments right after the 17th chapter was posted as I don't remember what the comments for the first few chapters were like. I was merely surprised as I was under the impression that ppl liked that kind of psychotic character with no attachment, I guess everyone found Sayo to be too cute to be tormented lol
the way everyone was shitting on Yamadera-kun a few days ago saying they didn't care about him and now y'all are shedding tears for him.
I think he's a great addition to the story bc as we've seen in the first chapter, sayo would have never become comfortable with himself and would never have evolved as a vampire nor met his vamp friends. Basically without Yamadera-kun he would've still be stuck in fear and loneliness
