I totally agree with all you said. All of them are messed up but I can also only see Heeseo as the pitiful one here. Cha is being biased and plus he betrayed and made Heeseo lose hope.

He lost all hope... That ONE person who gave him a chance to look into life in a different aspect pulled him back to his hellhole and never even care... This is the true injustice between them, not him almost killing Cha. But Cha being a puppet of his adoptive mother.
The moment Mr. Cha did everything to protect that adopted mother of his, my love for both of them died, and I can only see Heeseo as the one who needed affection the most.
Maybe most of you will get mad at him for being sick and reliant to Cha, but you can never change the fact that he felt betrayed and lost after that guy treated him as if he isn't the one who lost a loving mother all these time...
Stop defending Cha, he's way too biased on his so called family... Good luck on him on season 2. For sure, it will be a bloodbath for both him and his family..
