I’m sorry but ML got taeshin gangbanged that caused his suicide and used his ex fiancé that caused her suicide AND THEN used her sister too, it’s kind of insane to me that you still speak fondly of the ML just because he’s genuinely in love with the MC. And not only that but you say his chasing arc was too cruel? Am I the only one who’s confused right now?

Good story doesn’t automatically mean sunshine and rainbows. A good story could be the way that the author tells the plot well and describes the characters. That applies to dark stories as well. Examples would be like Game of Thrones or the Walking dead which have dark themes but many consider it good.
