Yeah i use the "it's just manhwa logic" excuse a lot too lmaoo, but is it too much to ask for well written stories like they don't even need to be THAT good, they just need to be okay

I think the thing amazed the ML is that the FL survived abuse from her family(which btw in my perspective even in real life is freaking amazing since with that kind of abuse I would have slide to death years ago) or so I thought. Pretty sure the ML ran a background check on her that's why maybe he always praise her to boost her self esteem.
Damn I should've read this comment before starting cause I agreee. I was wondering why were there so many good reviews of the ML and their relationship but when I read it I couldnt see it ajdjsjdba like yeah he is a green flag for now which is probably what a lot of people liked (but the bar is so low ) I wanted a good storyy
I'm gonna be honest and say that the story for now is kinda boring and there are two things that i'm not liking at all:
The 1st is definitely the FL, i honestly find her irritating and what i hate the most is the discrepancy of her character, like to the family who neglected and abused her she is strong and doesn't let herself be walked on, while with the person who is showing her constant attention she is incredibly insecure, and i can understand how she acts with her family since this is her second life but i can't for the life of me understand why she acts like that with Cedric even though SHE KNOWS he is an incredibly kind person since, from what i've understood, he acted like that even in their first life. (Also i probably find her annoying because even irl i really can't get along with very insecure people, I'm sorry).
The second thing that i'm not liking at all is the relationship between FL and ML like you have known eachother for not even 2 days and the ML is already saying shit like "You're the most amazing person i know" (or something like that) WHAT AMAZING THING HAS SHE DONE to have left such an impression like she literally had a duel with you and then collapsed a few hours later.
In the end i think the author wanted to write a lovey dovey relationship (which i'm in full support of, i'm tired of relationships with hundreds of misunderstandings) but they just don't know how a relationship starts
For now i'll continue to read the story since these are just the first few chapters and the plot is interesting with the whole holy sword thing going on, i just hope that the execution will become better
