Yes... That means Eren's sacrifice were in vain. War never ended. And this 'VERY FIRST ORGANISM' that they call will still exist... Very sad but good ending. It's really an open one.
My brother really put it into perspective for me, he said Erens objective was never to stop it from happening, he did it so his friends could live peacefully until they pass. I see so much Eren hate when honestly, he made a grave sacrifice not many can understand. He was done dirty.
