Well, Jaekyung is a red flag. Haeyoung is a completely black flag. Quite a difference. Both are bad in real life, but in fiction some /many people might find that kind of character interesting.
It's still a dark psychological drama that gives more emphasis on psychological elements, especially the psychological response of the main character. Some people may have different expectations with the redemption arc. But Haeyoung did apologize and regret in his own way and by doing self-harm although he was still violent because of his impulses as a psycho. Though at least in the end he tried to control his emotions and stop abusing even when he was angry or jealous, it was an improvement as a psychopath like him.
Okay okay so I'll all tell you what will happen at the end to drop this shit , at first I thought its was dark psychology and we will eventually get a redemption arc or smth but no the uke will be even more humiliated and tortured by the ml , he will even almost lose his vision, his skin would become so sensitive because the trashy seme threw something on it making it bleed from the slightest touches , another guy would come and rape him and humiliates me multiple times infront of the seme but the seme won't rescue the uke whatsoever (this when they start studying in university btw) then the uke start working in a company and ofc the manager would assault for a month, probably would take around 5 chapters of assaults non stopping ...to summon up because there's a lot of nasty details I won't say , the uke will try to commit suicide but the asshole come and rescue him then take him to the hospital and the doctors assumed that the bruises in Uke body is due to depression of committing suicide and shit not knowing its the Seme. The uke will loose his memory temporarily and the seme out of nowhere will start treating him nicely with love and shit , sometimes the uke get flashbacks of his past but calms down because the love of his life "the seme" is besides him . He would dye his hair black and live happily after with the seme (WHO DIDN'T APOLOGISE DID TON OF SHIR YOU WOULDNT WISH FOR YOUR ENEMY AND MOST OF ALL HE WOULD BECOME NICE RANDOMALY)
