Did we ever got an answer on what exactly Jooin saw in Yahwi that made him fall so deeply in love as so many people have been saying here? Because in my understanding his “love” for Yahwi was not because of his personality or what he knows about his life. The message all of this conveys in the end is that Jooin is a shallow boy who loved Yahwi looks, because let’s be honest here, Yahwi was horrible to Jooin since the beginning. If someone asked Jooin in this story what does he likes about Yahwi besides his appearance he’d probably stay silent. The worst part is that Jooin was said to hate violence and in the end he got back to the one who hit him…

lmao I think most of us have had a toxic ex who tried to crawl back. i personally did not get back w him but many of my friends did and most of the time, unless the reason of the breakup was something trivial like famoly breaking them or like distance, they always got disappointed and hurt again by tbese men.
ofc this is just fiction and it shouldnt be super realistic but like cmon guys these types of second chances and 180 developments don't work out nor exist in real life so dont go with yhe have you even been in love lol

Nah it works. you only know about break ups but you don’t know about longs lasting relationships I’m thankful my parents are still together repeatedly forgiving and understanding each other accepting mistakes but there’s always limit to everything they did not reach to that extent yet or maybe because they had us already but they still have to do it, sad reality but practical

yeah the thing is having a relationship where people fight is different than people parting ways once and getting back together. thats what happened here. thats what i was talking about not a relationship where people stay together despite hardships and fights.

people usually also grow as a person throughout the years and do change, im sure a yahwi type broken and self centered person can also change but like his personality and behavior is the very thing that made their first attempt not work lmao. so the least they can do is show us how that changed

AND that's the thing about love. It doesn't need reasons. It just happens, and no one chooses it!
Yahwi changed and paid for his past mistakes with YEARS of longing.
And I don't know what will happen to Cain in the next chapters, but I doubt the author would be unfair to him.
Anyway yes this story was written realistically and beautifully for many of us.

Some fights lead to further misunderstandings but some fights lead us to grow up and in yahwi and jooins case they are misunderstanding at first they don’t want to face each other yet because of hate, anger, and fear that’s why they needed space they needed a whole ass timeskip to physically and mentally grow to face their issue. Fighting doesn’t always mean its a bad thing.

exactly lmao. he started to like him for his looks and he was hurt he didnt remember him when they were children and treated him horribly. then they kinda never made up and jooin constantly rejected him, he never REALLY got to know him and they never really got to be lovey dovey or anything. saying they were deeply in love and longed for each other such a big reach. even for yahwi because how is the only thing keeping u going for years some guy you hooked up with in college...

That’s why I get confused when most people talk about them being so in love when that was not it. That wasn’t love, attraction perhaps, but never love. They didn’t know anything about each other besides both sharing the same college. Maybe in future chapters we can see them getting to know each other better, but the way this chapter made them look like they were in love since the beginning was ridiculous and badly executed by the authors. Yahwi’s last words about him not having a single day where he haven’t loved Jooin are really strange for me to read, but it is what it is ig

Also I’d like to use these phrase made by the OP “thats why he said he should be free and not chase the past” to add that Jooin severely contradicted himself here because he criticized Cain for living in the past and not having a reason to live besides loving Jooin and not himself and in the end he and Yahwi are exactly the same, both chasing the past and not living from themselves lol
