well,,i kind of expected an ending like this to happen anyway, for xiao's case he needed more time to heal from his last relationship which he considered a big part of his life, in a way i guess you could consider that love because he knew that he didnt want to hurt mr mo whos only been good to him and mr mo knew well to not take advantage of such a situation, bc thats how much he loves him
