I mean she did say that she's trying to brainwash him into thinking she's a suitable candidate for his political marriage. But I do agree with what you're saying. FL should try make him see her as a friend first.
if you were in her shoes you would not say that, though I agree on the creepy part, but she just loves her family more and willing to do anything to achieve their peace and safety, if this is a dark angst story, it would be much darker not fluff
Can the MC relax for a bit and at least have the intentions of becoming friends with the ML first. I get she's trying to do some sort of plan here, but the guy still has a conscious and he seems a bit uncomfortable when she keeps bringing up how much she likes him everytime she sees him...
